5 Posing Tips for your Photoshoot

Posing Tip #1: Facing Each Other

This is a pretty normal pose and it allows for multiple subtle variations, such as one person looking at the camera while the other looks in the distance...or looks down and closes their eyes.

Posing Tip #2: I Got Your Back

This pose tells how intimate and close your are together. She leans into your body and you wrap your arms around here from behind. This also allows for variations. Such as looking at each other or the guy kissing the girls cheek, for example.

Posing Tip #3: Locked Arms

This photo can be taken from the front or rear. The girl intertwines her arms around one of the guys arms to show affection and comfort. I tend to like the rear shot because you can have the girl turn towards the camera, meanwhile the guy is looking off into the distance (makes for a dramatic shot)

Posing Tip #4: Reveal the ring!

You gotta show the ring, right!? I tend to really like the close up shots of the ring while the couple holds it up. Or, be really dramatic and funny and point to the ring in ecstatic emotion!

Posing Tip #5: I Got Your Back #2 - Sitting Down

I usually save this towards the end, when we’re all out of energy from jumping around ;)

Typically, the couple photographs best when they are intertwined together. For example, the girl snuggled up against the guy, both sitting down, showing comfort and trust.
